Take a tour on the Chief Waupaca, experience Arts on the Square, try curling with one of America’s oldest curling clubs. Wander down renovated Main Street to explore some of the unique shops and hear from local business owners about what makes Waupaca a thriving, vibrant community.
Waupaca is truly a Wisconsin wonder, one you should explore for yourself!

The Waupaca Area Convention & Visitor Bureau contracted with Lashbro Visual Communications to produce a Mad Dog & Merrill® Midwest Grillin’ TV Show here in Waupaca. We recorded the show on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Crystal River Inn & Cottages. The show highlights many Waupaca area businesses and products.
Many food and beverage products were featured and were provided by Turner’s Fresh Market, Weyauwega Star Dairy, Neumann’s Piggly Wiggly, BZ Consortium, King Berry Farm, Delicious Potato Chips, H. H. Hinder Brewing Co., plants/flowers by Chain O’ Lakes Home & Garden Center and lodging by Crystal River Inn and Cottages.
The show initially aired the week of July 10, 2022 and has aired in 35 states, over 140 markets throughout the US, on The Rural Channel in Canada and was repeated the week of November 6, 2022 for a second time.
This makes the show available to over 50 million households each time it airs. Not only will it have been seen throughout North America, but is now part of the extensive Mad Dog & Merrill library of episodes that will continue to air into the future.
In addition, 160 streaming and video on demand channels throughout the world also broadcasts the show, as well as part of the Mad Dog & Merrill library on their YouTube Channel and listed on their website https://www.maddogandmerrill.com/ and will be featured in an exclusive eBook available to Grillin’ Club members, and on social media links and newsletters in the future.
